The Learning Temperament Test is such a unique aspect of A Better Day Curriculum, that we have designated a separate website to the subject. There’s a lot of information our there about temperament. Learning Temperament is a ery different tool. There are 9 Learning Temperments. Each temperamant is a combination of our physical needs and emotional needs. When are are trying to learn anything in life be it academics, self-control, managing our mental health and regulating our impulses, if the environment is condusive to that progress, we can be successful. If the environment is providing input that distracts us or makes us anxious, blocks to progress arise.

Assessing the Learning temperament is actually an assessment of how the environment is either supporting or blocking our progress in any area of life.

We are born with our Learning Temperament and is not altered or varied by our environment. What we have seen in using this tool in education, educational services and mental health interventions, is that often, it is just one small adjustment in the environment, such as a scent, the temperature, a dietary fix, pace or noise level that can open up opportunities for successful learning and healing.

This is a do not harm intervention where a very small inventment is time and effort and bring about big changes. often we feel we are beating our heads against the wall with certain students, clients or our own children. No matter what we try, nothing works and it makes no sense. Making the proper adjustments in the environment can make all the difference. In hundreds of cases, it already has.
